Kanhaiyalal Halwai can follow its unassuming beginnings to a bhojnalaya in 1946, where a little piece of mithai was offered to cafes toward the finish of the feast.
This Mithai received such loyal patronage that the bhojnalaya soon blossomed into a speciality Mithai Store.
What started as a standalone store in Chirawa quickly spun into a huge network. Through the 74 years that have passed, Kanhaiyalal Halwai has established itself as Rajasthan's premier Indian Sweets and Savouries confectioner and retailer. That small piece of mithai is now a household name and a favourite among the people of Rajasthan
